The science of the microbiome has been fascinating to me for years, and I feel lucky that I can now professionally continue to explore this topic as it relates to food and nutrition for my clients.
Remember: everyone is unique, which is why my approach with clients is based on bio-individuality. It is critical to find out what foods best support your body. Please reach out if you have questions or if you would like a customized plan for your body-mind.
Supporting Your Microbiome with Whole Foods
The study of the microbiome and gut-brain axis has mushroomed in the past 5 years. Our increased understanding of the microbiome has now made its way into popular culture in the form of new books, probiotic supplements, and fermented foods.
The science is complex and evolving, yet we do know that taking care of our 100 trillion cell community of microbes living in or on our bodies is tremendously important.
Our gut bacteria help to manage many of our various bodily systems, including making essential vitamins, supporting our immune system and brain health, and helping to regulate metabolism and weight.
This guide will teach you how to support your microbiome using properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole foods.

I think that this guide is both helpful in its specificity, and also inviting to read and digest !☺️ The layout and photography are gorgeous and inviting, the information is progressive in its introduction to the topic, and it feels actionable. Many of these food products aren’t currently in my repertoire, so considering a few basic recipes, or even links to where suggested meals may be found could also jump start the adoption of these ideas! Thank you for sharing this important information.
